Key Account Manager, Multi-Residential
QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal energy consumption of commercial and residential properties. We have offices in Port Coquitlam, Ottawa and Toronto and have a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal. This position qualifies for the competitive variable compensation plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with multiple enterprise clients and key stakeholders
- Review existing accounts to identify new sales and growth opportunities
- Manage direct sales reports, including account representatives and inside sales
- Collaborate with Project Team and Technical Service leads to ensure customer satisfaction, prioritization of resources, continuous improvement initiatives
- Responsible for divisional revenue growth and supporting both targets and initiatives
- Assist in negotiating and drafting client service agreements, pricing lists
- Take lead in response to enterprise customer RFPs, RFQs and RFI
- Collaborate with Products and Software teams to introduce new products to divisional clientele
- Collaborate with Logistics team and venders to ensure quality and effective delivery of product lines
- Work directly with CRO, CEO, CFO and COO on new strategies, initiatives and overall divisional position
- Diligently update client accounts and sales reports in CRM
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field (business, energy management)
- Direct Customer Sales experience with 3-5 years of customer service experience
- Previous management experience, ideally within sales teams or customer success
- Experience in Product Management, Logistics, Technical Services an asset
- Knowledge and experience in utilities, metering, controls or energy management industries an asset
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
- Personable with the ability to interact with a diverse range of personality types and customers (property managers, ops managers, engineers, energy managers, contractors, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks with a varying degree of complexity
- Resourceful with the capacity to solve problems when all information is not easily accessible.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
- Highly skilled in a Windows Office environment, knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, a must
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software essential
