GAO Research Inc. is seeking highly motivated and talented Chinese-speaking students or recent graduates located in Canada to join our Software Development team as virtual interns. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development projects, coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating on real-world technology solutions.

Duration: 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, testing, and debugging software applications related to GAO Research’s products and platforms.
• Contribute to developing new features and enhancing existing functionalities.
• Conduct software testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals as needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and technical support.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, etc.).
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for communication with clients and partners in China.
• Knowledge of Chinese business culture and communication styles is a strong asset for this role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
