Cadence: Manager - 30 min Growth path w/ recruiter - 60 min Portfolio review with team - 60 min Critique exercise with team - 60 min Director - 30 min Process took about seven weeks. Interviews were informal with highly engaged, smart folks. There seemed to be some internal miscommunication around role/responsibilities. Some folks indicated they were interviewing candidates for the first time. Director level interview contradicted information communicated in previous conversations, leading to a bit of a chaotic end to a long process. On the recruitment side, their candidate portal is well-designed and informative. They offered to provide feedback at the end of the process (albeit in a canned email) and did not follow through. Some feedback for the team: Develop more alignment around role to avoid contradictions, consider involving director-level folks earlier in the process.

Life story interview then met with senior designer to walk through take home assignment. Life story was unlike the I’ve ever done before. Felt the final interview was biased and I did not receive meaningful feedback
