      Entretien

      The entire interview process took about 1.5 months. Interviewed all online. Part 1: The first part of the application is filling an online form that asks you basic things like "Why do you want the role" "What skills do you have that qualifies you" and a speed typing test to see if you can type decently fast. You're also asked to build a Shopify shop to show them your style/flare, but it's optional. I still highly recommend you to do it, it's great practice to get to know the platform. Part 2: If they accept your online application, you'll be invited to a google call interview. It's just 30 minutes, pretty casual chat about your most recent work history, what you did at the job, what you've accomplished. While this is laid back, I suggest you go through your roles & highlight things about customer service, and examples that will show you have the right qualities for the role. Part 3: If you passed the google call interview, you'll be invited to the "Gauntlet". This is the technical interview that consists of 2 live chat simulations & a live phone call. There are tons of example questions on glassdoor, I recommend going through those as practice. It wouldn't hurt to type out your responses & get in the rhythm of empathetic listening/small talk- since those will be the things they're looking for during the communication, regardless of the problem you're asked to resolve. Last thing- get ready to multitask! The live chat flies by, and it'll be over before you know it. Remember to attend to both merchants- it's very easy to stay fixated on one & forget about the other. Part 4: I think you'll get a call from your recruiter whether you passed or failed - just so you can chat about how you did on the technical interview. During this call, the recruiter asked about my technical interview experience: what I thought of it, how I think I did...etc. & I gave feedback + provided my honest experience with it (the good, things I can improve on...etc). At the end of that convo, they asked if I can imagine myself doing this as a full time job. I said yes & got the job offer. My biggest tip is to prepare prepare prepare! Spend the time to get to know the company, what they're looking for, and do tons of practice questions. And at the end of the day, ask yourself if you can practice empathetic listening for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, + have a genuine interest in learning about other businesses, and want to help these people succeed.

      Lengthy but well explained and scheduled interview process comprising of writing example emails, taking live chats and addressing a call. They give you the tools needed to prepare but it is stressful.
