I didn't get to the life story stage. I am not a fan of how Shopify does its application. They make you do the typical stuff like resume and cover letter PLUS create a Shopify store PLUS answer a challenge question. Why do we even need to create a store? it has nothing to do with the role. Seems like free work to me. This takes hours and It's annoying to do all these things and then be rejected automatically. I won't be applying here again

The interview experience with Shopify was smooth and engaging. It focused on a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The technical part involved coding challenges, emphasizing problem-solving and scalability. The behavioral part explored my teamwork, adaptability, and passion for innovation. The interviewers were friendly, and the process felt more like a conversation than an interrogation, which allowed me to showcase my skills naturally.
