I was told there were a series of seven interviews, I made it to round 3. Round 1: Speak on the phone with the recruiter for a quick conversation to vet you. Round 2: Assignment - You are given 3 scenarios in which you have to put together documentation to support those scenarios. For this role, the documentation was 3 - multi-page documents detailing how you would approach different scenarios as well as written plans. This was fine until, they asked me to put it in Google Drive and give them editing rights. I found practice annoying because I felt used. If shopify is reading this, I'd recommend that you ask people to put together a presentation and record it and send it in, vs giving you editing rights. I felt like they will use it but I was not compensated for the effort put forth. Round 3 - Personal Story via video meeting online
