A simple UI game live coding exercise, the task from a doc, after that they asked to push it into their repo. The interview guys were really nice, no pressure.

Had a short call with a recruiter and then was offered an interview. Interview consisted of a one hour "life story" discussion that involved discussing my past, present, and where I want to go with my career. Following this I had a short coding challenge with a senior member of their development team.

I gave three rounds for Shopify 1. 10 mins introduction then coding challenge in coderpad with one of their senior developers. the question was given an Array of objects and has to sort based on a particular field and if two records are equal then order them based on another property in the object. I was able to do the challenge. 2. second round was life story round where they asked my whole journey in detail from college to at present and few other behavioral questions. 3. Third round was 1-hour pair programming where they asked me to create a CLI tool in node js which takes input like (L/R/M)left/right and move forward, Based on input the coordinates and direction will change. interviewer helped me on taking inputs in node. I was able to finish the function but got rejected in that round
