      Entretien

Application : I applied through university in June 2018. The process took 2days consisting of 3 rounds- ● Telephonic Round ● Technical Round (It can be 1 or 2) ● HR Round Interview: Firstly, telephonic round (40-60 minutes) took place. Interviewer began with OOPs concept in java, example in real life etc. Then he asked about private, public, static classes, how we can access private methods, what is singleton class etc. Then he moved to RDBMS. ACID properties, how data is stored, DDL, DML, DCL & TCL , serializibility and many other basic questions of RDBMS... After I cleared telephonic interview, I was called up for interview at SAP LABS, Gurugram. Usually 2 technical rounds are taken but fortunately there was only 1technical round. Interview was taken for an hour. It also began with OOPs concept in java, real life example. Then questions from OS (synchronization) , data structures, polymorphism (code) etc. were asked. The interview was ended with one puzzle. We were 5 students from from our university and we all were selected for HR round. HR round was about 20-25 minutes. There were two interviewers. They discussed my resume, projects, what will I do in SAP and basic questions related to family and hobbies etc. Within a week results were announced. 3 out of 5 were selected and luckily I was one of them..

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez SAP (Brno) en juin 2026

      Entretien

3 rounds of interviews: quick prescreening call with HR, on-site meeting with the manager, and a tech call with the lead engineer. Prescreening was as usual. On the same day, I got a call from the manager and planned a second round for the next workday. The second round was the most important. First quick introduction, then easy puzzle, then 15 min of technical questions (OOP, basic programming principles, Relational DBs, etc) - pretty easy, nothing too deep. Then, about 40 minutes talk about previous experience, position, hobbies, and other basic topics. Very pleasant and friendly, good atmosphere. The third round was very quick - no live coding, a couple of architectural questions, static code analysis, and how to improve it (N+1 problem), SQL questions, overall around 10-15 minutes. Received an offer a couple of days after. The whole process was clean, friendly, and fast at every level.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

How would you add a new PK to a table with 1 million entries? What is OOP? Explain polymorphism. What is relational DB? What is an index?
