Very detailed as there are many SEC and FINRA regulations. They WILL do a background check so don't lie or leave out details. You will have to win over the heart and trust of the Branch Manager. If you have him or her you then you've pretty much got the cat in the bag.

Prepare a business plan. Then come up with a ton of people who you think will be prospects that you can call on. They prefer to see clients that will have $250K+ in investable assets.

The overall interview process is not extremely difficult. Meeting with the a manager and maybe another senior advisor whom is involved with the hiring process. Detailed business plan to prepare. More on showing them how you can succeed at the job. It would probably be two to three interviews before actual consideration.

Entretien
Starts off with a 30 min aptitude test followed by a 1-2 hour simulation of being an advisor in LA. This is followed by a 30 min hireview and 3 more tests if selected to move forward. At the end of the hireview you receive an email saying someone will be in touch and nobody contacted me. Had to check my status of the application through the applicant portal to find out I was no longer under consideration. Nothing out of the ordinary in the process except for the fact that I didn't get to speak to a single person throughout it and that is not very professional in my opinion.

Inept as inept can be. Couldn’t describe the job responsibilities effectively. It felt scummy the whole entire process. I would avoid at all costs. Heard bad things about this place.
