      Entretien

Given MS is one of the leading financial companies of our time, I expected their HR to be a bit more organized and structured. That is def. not the case. The hiring process started very abruptly, when I randomly received an email asking for my availablity for an in-person interview. The job description was attached in the email and I was given only a 2 day notice. There was no usual HR phone screening. I guess they found my background strong enough to skip that. Anyhow, I accepted the interview invite. The first in-person interview was scheduled for only 30 mins, which I also found a bit odd because all my interviews to-date have been at least 45-60 minutes. The first one went well, and I received an email from HR after 2-3 days for a second interview. This time the interview was to be conducted over the phone. The second round also went well. HR emailed me asking for my availablity in the following week. I replied but didnt hear back for another 3 days. Then, I got an email with another in-person interview with date and time but no location or person's name I'd be meeting with. So, I followed up and then a day later got an email with more information. That interview also went well. Lastly, I was called in for a case study interview with three MS personnel, each assuming roles in the areas of business, ops and tech. They evaluated my problem solving, presentation, communication and project management skills. In my opinion it went well but then I never heard back from them. A few days later, I received an automated email saying that my application with MS was closed. The job that was referenced in the email was not even the job I had interviewed for. I wasn't sure what it meant that my application was closed but then when I never heard back from HR, I assumed that I was not selected for the position. I also emailed the HR person I had been working with to get closure but never got a response. Long story short - MS is good company I am sure, they have great brand name but their HR clearly sucks. People working there are not very professional and def. not organized.
