One to one interview with the partner in charge. We covered aspects related to my previous experience as well as expectations related to the position, market overview and career development opportunities. We did not went into so much detail as the session was a quick interview. Then I was referred to another partner to be interviewed with. That partner had to leave the meeting in advance as was requested for another meeting, leaving me with a bitter sweet impression of the overall interview process.

I was ushered into the office, a Partner whom I knew pulled me aside and we spoke in his office briefly until my first formal interview. I interviewed with a Partner and a Managing Director and then closed with the Partner who first greeted me.

Applied through a referral from a Managing Director that I met in interview process at another Big 4 company, and stayed in touch/networked with over many years. IMHO there’s only two legitimate ways into Big 4 - campus recruiting and referral.
The position was posted in early December, and I applied in early January. Heard from a recruiter in a little less than one week to schedule Phone Screen. One week later, I had a peer interview on phone. Three weeks later I was flown to the office for final round with three interviews (peer, partner, head of practice). Within a few days, I had a verbal offer for the upper end of my salary range, and negotiated a bit more above that. Throughout the process the recruiter was honest about what was happening on her end and set reasonable expectations. Start to finish, the process took 6 weeks from resume submission to verbal offer.
