Two Rounds. One with two managers/directors and then a two day super event where you have to make a presentation about a data & analytics topic and then interview with 3 panelists (who would serve as your interviewers). The first day, panelists will try to give you a hard time during your presentation . This was definitely agreed upon with other interviewers who I interviewed with. A lot of tough questions they ask. After that, there's a typical networking event. The second and final day, there's 3 interviews; a technical, a behavioral, & a case. Person who interviewed me during the technical portion to be honest, was sort of rude and hostile. I felt looked down upon but I brushed it off as the interview went along. The other interviewers were alright and nice and it was a typical behavioral and case.
At the end of the day, I think an interview is supposed to be a two way street. I definitely felt more dejected after this versus the other interviews I had. I'm also sure this isn't just because I got rejected. This was definitely a shared sentiment I had among interviewers. Yes I know, it's an interview, you're supposed to be testing candidates but based off other interviews I had and friends I've talked to in charge of interviewing at other companies, it just came across as sorta hostile...
It could just be luck that I ended up with tough interviewers but I can't really ever see myself wanting to apply or want to work at KPMG in the future. My impression of the company isn't as favorable because of this experience.
