This role requires the candidate to be able to speak chinese because the client is from China. There was a voice call with the recruiter to test my Chinese proficiency. Besides that, there was a 75 minutes technical assessment via hackerrank which consists of 10 objective questions ( linux, kubernetes, shell script) and 2 coding questions.
1st coding question is to write a bash script to process a log file.
2nd coding question is to solve a hackerrank question.
Before the test, they provided a mock up test to practice and it is similar to the real test. You could pass the test if you practice it.
The Deloitte interview process included an initial HR screening, followed by technical and behavioral interviews. Questions assessed problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and role-specific knowledge. The experience was professional, structured, and engaging.

I didnt make it past the initial HR screening call as when asked about my exact age, I felt it was a rather unique and interesting question and wanted to understand what relevance it played into anything.
Salary. They wanted to know my age so they could salary bracket me.
I did not continue because I expressed that I felt this was discrimination and their focus being my age and not capabilities was all I needed.
