The overall benefits plan is quite dated and has not been formally refreshed in over 10 years. It used to be one of the best pension plans on the market, but as of this year, all defined benefit pensioners have been cut over to a defined contribution plan representing a much smaller retirement savings vehicle. Also, the work load expectations increase year over year, making it increasingly difficult to use any of the paid time off options available to staff.
Benefits are decent at Deloitte. Deloitte offers 3 weeks of vacation and 3 personal days for employees. Additionally, they provide the opportunity to work from home; however, this depends on your project team. They also provide a corporate cell phone (iPhone) with pretty much unlimited data which is a often over looked perk. Deloitte offers a decent health and dental package which will cover the standard items. Your $1300 Flex dollars will cover all the health and Dental premiums which is a plus. Retirement savings is disappointing. It starts at 2% of your salary and they will match what you contribute. The amount you can contribute will increase with your career at Deloitte; however, don't plan on retiring early with Deloitte with your corporate pension.
