Hiring manager was friendly. Asked basic questions like Why are you looking to transition, what are you looking for , give background of yourself. It didn't seem like the company or division was very organized... recruiter mentioned 5-6 open roles and none were very clearly defined. Also hiring manager was not friendly or approachable, which gave off a negative company culture.

I have observed a concerning trend with Deloitte's hiring practices, specifically regarding job postings on LinkedIn. Despite being a top applicant with a 100% skillset and qualification match for the job descriptions, Deloitte rarely reaches out to potential candidates. This has been a common experience among my peers as well.
It appears that Deloitte frequently posts job positions externally without any genuine intent to hire from the pool of external applicants. Instead, they seem to favor internal candidates, using the external postings as a facade. Additionally, there are suspicions that the company may be posting such job positions online creating inflated (fake) visa requirements to justify moving resources from other countries to Canada, rather than hiring locally qualified candidates.
This practice not only misleads job seekers but also wastes their time and efforts. It is disheartening to see such reputed organizations engage in unethical practices that undermine the trust and integrity of the job market. I hope Deloitte takes note of these issues and works towards transparent and fair hiring practices.

Went through two rounds of interviews. One with the recruiter and one with the hiring manager.
Both interviews lasted for 30 mins each and were fairly straightforward. The questions asked revolved mostly around experience.
