series of online meetings: HR, Direct Manager, VP. HR kept me informed of prgress, then no news for 6 weeks while they adjusted roles and interviewed more candidates. It was pleasant enough with Direct Manager, good rapport but VP asked me to justify why hire me over other candidates - frankly stated that I cannot answer becuase I dont know anything about other candidates

Hiring manager takes CV and doesn't even confirm receipt. It's perfectly ok to say no if not moving ahead but radio silence on it shows poor recruitment skills from such a big reputed organization.

The process goes with the HR round in which you are asked about your experience and other curriculum, there by you will be having an SME round where they will ask you about how/ what you have done so far and what is being expected from you for this particular role.
