Application and Screening:
Online Application: Submitting your resume and cover letter.
Initial Recruiter Screen: A short phone call to discuss your resume, fit, and salary expectations.
Assessment/Testing (Often Online or Initial Stage):
Technical/Situational Assessment: You may be given a test to evaluate your technical aptitude, troubleshooting methodology, and customer service skills (e.g., how you would respond to a difficult customer email or a complex bug report).
Aptitude Tests: Sometimes general logical or numerical reasoning tests are included.
Hiring Manager Interview (1st or 2nd Round):
A deeper conversation focusing on your experience, problem-solving skills, and approach to the core responsibilities of the role.
Team/Peer Interviews (Later Rounds):
Interviews with team members to assess cultural fit, collaboration skills, and communication style. You may be asked to walk through a challenging case study.
Final/Executive Interview (Optional):
A conversation with a Director or VP to discuss your long-term career goals and strategic vision for the support function
The interview was a short screening of my knowledge of basic business abbreviations and how you would make sure to lead a successful team. Definitions that I had to name and put into context were KPIs (Key Performance Indicator).
It was a easy straight forward interview. Not much was asked except a bit on the experience.they do look quite closely upon which companies you have worked for and so forth.
