This year, close to 200 PetSmart associates are celebrating their 2️⃣0️⃣th anniversary with the company. From the home offices to the field and the distribution centers, these pet-passionate members of our pack have been making a positive impact for two entire decades! 👏🌟 We want to give a shout-out to PetSmart's CHRO and SVP of Human Resources, Erick Goldberg— one of our home office leaders hitting this milestone! Erick's guidance serves as an inspiration to us all, and #LifeAtPetSmart wouldn't be the same without him.
Each year, our entire HR department—from the Phoenix Home Office, Canada, the field, and distribution centers—get together to spend a fantastic few days full of celebration, learning, fun, and recognition. This year's event theme was "Hollywood," and we had a marvelous time connecting in a fun virtual setting, feeling inspired by many speakers and leaders, and celebrating all of the past year's success. 🌟 Special shout-out to J.K. Symancyk, Cherise Ordlock, and Erick Goldberg for their leadership and amazing insight during the meeting! Did you know that every 38 seconds a pet is adopted at a PetSmart store? Last week we celebrated the first National Adoption Week of 2021! ❤️🐾 Thousands of lives were saved in one week thanks to the efforts of our exceptional adoption partners, associates, and members of our communities looking to add furry family members to their homes through PetSmart Charities. It makes our hearts warm knowing so many pets found loving families. #LifeAtPetSmart #AnythingforPets
We're looking forward to starting the week off right! PetSmart Charities is excited to share that our first National Adoption Week of 2021 is scheduled to begin TODAY and goes through July 25th.
