After three interviews and months of conversation, the recruiter ghosted me despite multiple follow-ups directly to them. I am totally fine with hearing I didn't get a job, but tell me, even through an automated email. I had to check my application on Workday to find out (months into conversations with them) that I was unsuccessful. You would think a company like Salesforce would have integrity and care for their employer brand at the least, and set the standard for a recruitment process at best, but unfortunately this was not the case. Never have I experienced such disrespect in a recruitment process. Expectations were set by a recruiting team that weren’t followed through on and being rejected passively with zero communication was disheartening and unprofessional - especially after investing significant time and energy. A brief note (automated or not) to close the loop goes a long way, especially when a candidate is this far into the process. Salesforce was my dream company and one I had been working towards my whole career, but I will not be applying again - this experience speaks to the culture and I'm glad I seem to have dodged a bullet.
