      Where to begin... Ok. So the recruitment process was absolutely amazing. Got setup to speak with the hiring manager via hangouts with a nice chat followed by straight forward coding exercise. Next step involved a 2.5 hr coding session with two engineers. It was fun, creative, practical and thorough- not to mention it was challenging. Engineers were professional and allowed for a productive session where we exchanged dialogue freely. Next up was an intense day long interview where I met many of the team. I was greeted by a recruiter (professional), got settled in, and met with individuals 1:1. Smart and energetic bunch of engineers. Everyone shared a common message that put the end user and customers first. What further impressed me in this group were the leaders, I loved the fact that they valued but only technical capabilities but also personality. I can't stress this enough as one who has witnessed a the stereotypical "culture" turn out to actually resemble a frat more than anything else in this new age of tech and software. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. This was a truely thought out and professional interview-format. Recruiter was really on top of things and communicated effectively.

      Entretien

      Applied online with resume and cover letter (aka cold). Over the course of 7 weeks did a phone screen with a recruiter, a technical screen (phone), a Google Hangout, and an onsite interview where I met with 9 people over several hours. Finally a week later I got an offer and accepted right away. Interviewed with a variety of people, from peers to a senior leader. The style was very conversational. Everyone was smart and friendly and open about things the team did great, and stuff they were working to improve. Interviews were not coding-heavy (no writing on the whiteboard), but a lot of questions on skills and experience, so you still have to know your stuff. Everyone left a lot of time for me to ask questions, which was awesome. Sometimes I was asking more questions than they were. Everything was extremely well organized and professional. Prior to any interview I always had a Google Calendar invite confirmation, and the name of the person(s) I would interview with. Offer contingent on background check, which I guess can take long enough that people usually start before the check is completed. From start to finish took almost two months, but it was worth it to work for such a great company!

      The interview process was pretty intensive and lasted several weeks. I had nearly 6 total phone interviews (including recruiter's call). On site, I had 8 interviews with 11 people in total.
