c.100 interviewees for approx. 10 positions. Split into morning and afternoon sessions. 2+ hours long. Group interview where you were asked a question, a poster presentation of a '5 star customer experience at Lush' in groups of 5 then paired off to do a demonstration of some products to the group. You were given a choice out of a small selection and a few minutes to prepare. The staff running the interview were warm and encouraging for the most part but the sheer amount of people was not the best atmosphere. Many felt mislead at the slim chance of making it to the next stage once they arrived - I think some people walked out. The next stage was a one hour trial shift but I never got to that stage. As far as I am aware that was the final stage and a decision would be made after that.

It was a group interview, very unconventional, hands-on, and activity-based, teamwork. They expect you to know their company values and ethics, which will carry over to your role. It was very relaxed and they made me feel very comfortable and heard.
