Interviewer was pleasant! HR person was also pleasant. However, assessment quality was lacking. Not really a good indicator to assess someone. Interview was an assessment testing enumeration and lifecycle stage, as well as contact properties in HubSpot. You are given less than 5 days to browse through the CRM (lol) without knowing what exactly you were going to be asked to troubleshoot on the exact day itself.
Entire process felt like asking a layman person to walk around a hospital to prepare for a test on how to diagnose a rare disease. (if you get the 'subtle' reference)
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
1. Real customer support specialist would more than likely have some prior knowledge of what enumeration and lifecycle stage was, unless HubSpot allows employees to take on tickets and troubleshoot, without such prior basic knowledge?
2. It may have seemed like the assessment was to test ‘problem-solving’ or ‘resourcefulness’ but it may have ended up testing on prior inside knowledge, and how well a candidate ‘guesses’ under pressure instead (especially when one is supposed to ‘guess’ or ‘decipher’ their way through what enumeration was within 10 seconds just by reading a line off a website)
3. The assessment felt like asking a layman person to walk around a hospital to prepare for a test on how to diagnose a rare disease
4. I do not believe this assessment reflects the true day to day role of a CSS - where proper training and documentations are typically provided prior

It is a 5 step interview process, with the 1st one being a phone screening, then a video call/interactive assignment, and then finally three 30 minute back to back interviews for the 3rd and final round.

Three rounds:
-Screening with recruiter
-Technical (live troubleshooting with a manager)
-Behavioral (3-30 minute interviews with managers)
The recruiter offers prep sessions before the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Take advantage of them as they’ll explicitly walk you through how to prepare.
Long hiring process; about 3 to 4 rounds in total. First was with HR for screening call. She was very friendly and professional. Good experience and she even gave me feedback post-interview to help me improve.
