Interviewed with recruiter for UX Researcher position. The interview was positive and recruiter was open and supportive. She told me she would get back to me by Friday at latest with info about further steps, and to contact her on Monday if for some reason she had not messaged me. But then she ghosted me. I followed up but never heard back from her. Unnecessary and unprofessional

It's pure scam and pre-orchestrated, Supposedly, Hubspot is the "second best place to work". However, if a company expects you to drop everything in your life and interview you in the exact time they ask you to - and demand that kind of entitled servitude the moment you pass on the phone screen, and doesn't consider humanitarian grounds of you being very sick with Covid, then that's a red flag. Think about what kind of work culture is actually there in this company that asks you to provide your availability, but then tells you they hired someone else, because you were not available in the next few days of being asked to pick a date. They did this, in spite of mentioning this fear that you are willing to work with them regarding the availability. Recruiter lied and misrepresented facts. And the whole hypocrisy and inhumanity involved makes me rethink things. No way am I going to work with this kind of problematic work culture and ethic, and most importantly, inhuman people.
