      The interview process consists of a pre-recorded video interview, followed by a phone interview, followed by in-person video interviews. I passed the pre-record video interview and I had a phone call with a technical recruiter. They were unprofessional; their communication was faulty. They took several days to respond to emails and confirm times to speak. On the day of our phone interview, she sent an email to push back and cancel the interview one minute before the scheduled phone call. She took a while to finally confirm a new phone interview time with me. When we finally did have our phone interview their signal dropped midway through the interview. After struggling to contact them for several minutes we were finally able to finish the interview. The Hubspot recruitment process does not seem reflective of the transparent, open, and honest Hubspot company culture. While also interviewing with Facebook simultaneously, I find that Facebook has a much better, and personal interview process that encourages candidates to excel and put their best foot forward. After this interview process with Hubspot, I am reluctant to ever apply to this company again. Advice to Hubspot: 1) be more professional 2) be transparent in your wording for this role (either you are looking for people with UX experience or your not..) I emailed asking for feedback since I was told that I did not move on to the next round although the recruiter said that this role was for someone such as myself. Two weeks later I received her response; Although this position is tailored to those new to UX and those coming from non-traditional backgrounds, I lacked experience in working with UX as a discipline. I only spoke about my transferable skills working on user experience and not on UX as a discipline.
