J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez HubSpot

Awful process. I had to do 4 rounds and it was all very time consuming. Got to the final round where I had to meet 4 people (took nearly 3 hours). A lot of the questions were repeated and just futile. Overall I was not impressed with the process. The feedback given was very general and not specific. I would not recommend applying unless its something you really want.

Question 1
What didn't they ask. Asked absurd questions, "do you read a sales blog", "name one moment that has inspired you". Most of the questions were repeated by each interviewer. Just didn't feel they were relevant to the role and getting to know me as a person.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) en août 2015

First round was an interview via telephone with the internal Recruiter. She was very nice and gave me a lot of info on the company and background. Thereafter there is a sales pitch phone call with a Sales Manager, he gives you feedbback on the call and you have to incorporate this back into the pitch again. You're brought onsite to meet the team and prepare a sales pres / plan finally.

I was referred from a current employee at HubSpot and the recruiter, Katie Donohue, reached out to me for an initial screening phone conversation (What do you know about HubSpot? Why are you a good fit? Why HubSpot?). I was also asked to complete a 130+ question assessment. Next, I had a call with a Senior Manager who asked similar questions; however, they were more aligned with my background and experience (Why are you leaving your current role? Tell me about yourself). After this second phone call, I was invited to come in to meet with some of the team. The in-person interview took a total of 5 hours and I met with 5 Managers. They sent a 7 page document with sample questions as well as exercises/case studies to prepare in advance. Make sure to take time to prepare and remember to close each interviewer. Following the in-person interview, I was asked to do a role play, which is recorded and sent to the hiring managers. Lastly, I had a final call with the VP of Sales who asked some additional questions and reviewed my assessment results. The last call was with the recruiter, Katie, who made a job offer.
Overall, the interview process was long and thorough however Katie assisted throughout it.
