      Entretien

      I was phoned and emailed by a recruiter (lets call the recruiter A), telling me that the recruitment team is impressed with my resume . We then agreed for formal phone interview in which I would talk with another recruiter (lets call this one B) The interview is very nice. B is very professional and friendly. I PERSONALLY think that I did well, since what HubSpot requires fits greatly with my experience and knowledge. B sounded very excited and overall the phone call was pleasant. The interview occurred on Wednesday. B promised that he would inform me of the result LATEST by Friday. I have to be honest that I am really eager for the follow up from B I had a great admiration to HubSpot and I PERSONALLY think I'm a great candidate - but doesn't matter what I think or feel. The issue is that B did not deliver his promise. I got no news whatsoever by Friday. I emailed A, asked her via Linkedin, and I got no reply. It was not until several International Calls and SMS from me (I'm located in Malaysia) that B emailed me, after promising to call me back (but no). I have NO ISSUE over the rejection. I feel glad that he email me of the result. But the problem lies in the delivery of promise and the management of expectation, and how should they handle people who applied. I hope HubSpot's recruitment team will learn and improve. How difficult is that to send an email or reply a Linkedin chat? I truly am disappointed by A's non-responsiveness and B's failure to inform the result on time.

      Hi there, I'm really sorry we let you down with the experience here, and that you were left hanging on a request for information--we can and should be more responsive with regard to the feedback request if and when we can.       Entretien

      Very poor feedback after first interview and both the manager and the recruiter failed to respond when asked for more. Asked for feedback after the role play and I was told I had to be more concise, which I took and would have worked on. In my opinion there has to be another reason why I've been declined but this hasn't been told me, not even when I specifically asked for more information to improve in the future. Bad experience overall.

      Entretien

      I submitted my application online and was contacted to submit a video recording of myself responding to a few questions, to get a better feel for who I was. I then had an initial phone screen with a recruiter, leading to a phone discussion with a hiring manager. From there, I was brought in for a back-to-back formatted interview with five members of the HubSpot team. I was given a tour of the HubSpot campus when I arrived, and then met with each of the interviewers I had lined up. They were so personable and made me feel at home while we were conversing! I heard back the next day, and accepted an offer!

      Entretien

      I had to go through multiple conversations with different people on the team, where they asked me questions about previous experiences and culture related questions. I felt very comfortable talking to everyone, as it felt like a conversation.
