Phew, where to start!? 2 positions. 7 weeks. 11 HubSpotters. 14 interviews. This is not your typical run-of-the-mill interview process. Right from the beginning it's clear that a good cover letter and resume won't get you the job. Culture is king at HubSpot and you have to prove that you're a perfect fit. Your skills are important but making sure you'll work well with your future team is even more-so. The first couple interviews I had were more culture-fit-based and the following ones were more position/skill-based. What really stood out to me about the process was how fast it was. All of my interviews were no more than a couple days apart - and the recruiter followed up with me via phone to provide feedback along the way (this was really helpful!). What was also nice about the process was that when HubSpot realized one position wasn't the best fit for me, they had me interview with another team that they thought might be better. Though I ultimately wasn't offered a position, I can't say more about this process; HubSpot was incredibly transparent throughout and while it was a long road - there was a lot of support and plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way. Good luck to everyone interviewing!! Below was my timeline: NOTE: I don't live near Boston, so all of my interviews were via Zoom - a simple to use video application. 1. Applied online and heard back within a couple days to set up a meeting with a recruiter 2. Call with recruiter 3. Call with potential supervisor 4. Take home project related to position 5. Zooms with 6 team members (including supervisor) 6. Zooms with two supervisors, VP, and CMO 7. Reference Requests 8. **Discussion about interviewing for another position** 9. Zoom with potential supervisor #2 10. Zooms with potential supervisor and VP

Hi there - thanks so much for taking the time to write a review and I'm so thrilled that, in spite of your outcome, you felt our process was worth your time. We really try to get to know folks who apply early in the process so that we can work with them to ensure they're moving forward with the role that is best aligned with their interests, experience and skills - glad we hit the mark with you here. One thing I am particularly happy about is that your recruiter gave you feedback along the way - this is incredibly important in setting you up for success throughout the process. Best of luck in your next career steps and I hope we have the opportunity to engage with you in the future! - Becky
