Phone interview, 2nd Phone interview, Face 2 Face interview, and finial assessment where they do a day in the life of an FA. the interview process was okay till the finial test. the finial test was the most idiotic thing that anyone can do! it is a 4 hour waste of time! you are on a simulated day in the life of the FA where you are given a list of clients to cold call and warm call. they want to figure out how you like to work to see if that fits their uniform mold. the bad thing is that they do not leave any room for your on development. example you do not so good they will decline you for hiring but they do not put into account that you can develop the skills that declined you in the first place. All honesty do not go through this extensive interview process unless you are willing to waste days and hours of your time. you spend hours on the phone with recruiter's , couple hours on of your day on with the face 2 face interview and 4 hours with a test. all in all you are wasting more than 12 hours plus of your time you will never get back.

Interview process first consists of numerous dinner events, all very laid back where you get to learn more about the company and the advisors in the region, and they get to learn more about you. If you keep getting invited back to dinners, consider it progress in the interview process. Honestly, the best, most effective interview process.

it's a series of interviews with people in the office then a full-day of simulating the role of the advisor where you're receiving calls from clients and team mates as well as receiving emails. As a career-changer, this was the part of the interview phase where I realized Edward Jones wasn't the right start to my career as a financial advisor and ended up going somewhere that invested in my growth rather than a "sink or swim" type of place.
