There are roughly 4 rounds of interviews that happen. The first one is typically from someone from the function that is treated as a filter round. In this round basic questions are asked to ensure that the candidate being picked is actually a right fit to begin with. The second round would typically be from a peer that can be a very comprehensive assessment of skills pertinent to the job i.e. domain knowledge, ability to solve problems, people skills, etc. The third round is typically done by the hiring manager where the assessment is more around leadership qualities and soft skills that will be required to be successful at the role. This can also include more assessment of hard skills/technical skills that are relevant for the job. The fourth and the final round is typically done by HR to bring in an objective assessment of the candidate and check that there are no red flags.

Terrible. Overall communication from HR was sporadic at best. After several interviews, I thought I had been ghosted. I did finally receive a rejection email 5 months later. Does that count?
