J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Capital One (Richmond, VA) en juin 2011

      Entretien

I separated from my previous company and within a couple of days, I was contacted by a family friend about an opportunity to work at Capital One. When I left my previous company, Capital One was at the top of my list because of previous interactions I had had with employees. The process got off to a slow start, as it took about a week to do the telephone interview. Once I completed this stage, I was asked to complete a math test and verbal test. This stage then led into my 'power day'. My recommendation for you in preparation for power day, is to relax, and come prepared. You should have examples of experiences of, 'tell me when you were': confronted with an issue, had to step up as a leader, and/or faced with someone that did not see eye to eye with your methodology. Power Day was very intense, because I had back to back interviews from 9-1. I guess that is why they call it power day. But the overall experience was very positive. Because I was prepared and had an idea of what to expect, I was confident walking into the interview. The Behavioral interviews were typical interview questions that asked you about your experiences. The Case Study was the most intense part of my process. The examples are designed to make you think, and logically work through a project. If you keep open dialog with the interviewer, you will be okay. After the first 4 interviews, I had lunch with someone and my day was complete. It took 4 business days to receive a call with an offer.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

The case study was about taking 7,000 templates down to less than 10. Then they asked for me to reduce the amount of time it took to complete the project, and finally if I could bring 1 person onto a project at any stage, where would I put that person AND why.

Looked pretty straight forward with scenario-based questions about one of their products. The first questions was followed dup with multiple predetermined questions The questioning process looked rigid. You have to say the exact answers they want to hear
