The process is standard as others have mentioned. First I was contacted by HR by phone. Second, I completed the online test. Capital One provides useful resources to help you prepare for the test. Then, I was invited to Richmond for an on-site, which includes 2 behavioral and 2 case interviews. All the interviewers were senior managers who are familiar with the company and in the job family that I interviewed for, which is great. The interviewers were all very friendly and helpful. The behavioral interviews are straightforward, you just need to know your stories well. It's a good idea to prepare for the cases - I did not, but they let me know when I made a mistake. It's critical to keep communicating what you are thinking with the interviewer. After the on-site, I had two more phone interviews with hiring managers in the following week, and got the offer 3 days later.

The interview process was very straightforward and well-organized. The HR team guided me through each step clearly and kept me informed throughout the process.
The overall process included five stages:
1. **Online Assessment (OA)**
The first step was an online assessment to evaluate basic technical and problem-solving skills.
2. **HR Call**
After the OA, I had a call with HR to discuss my background, interest in the role, expectations, and the overall interview process.
3. **Take-Home Assignment**
The next step was a take-home assignment, which allowed me to demonstrate my analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities in a more practical setting.
4. **Power Day — 4 Rounds**
The final interview stage was a Power Day with four rounds. These rounds covered different areas, such as technical skills, case/project discussion, behavioral questions, and role fit.
5. **Decision**
After the Power Day, the team moved to the final decision stage.
Overall, it was a very smooth and easy-to-follow process. HR was very supportive and provided guidance throughout the entire process, which made the experience clear and manageable.

1. skill assessment - mostly sql, statistics based. 70 mins to solve 15 questions. try to get around 5-6 right as they are difficult.
2. Data challenge - 10 days to complete a data challenge based on airline dataset. Did all the work as asked and i knew my solution was correct still got rejected and there was no feedback. I invested almost 10 full days of my crucial time in it and got rejected without feedback. worst part of the recruitment process. when asked abt feedback or reason they said they can't disclose due to risk purposes.
