I found the interview process at times stressful which I do think impacted the decision process significantly. I had passed my initial interview and was told I made it to the second round. I was sent the wrong time by a member of Autodesk's recruitment team who was based in Spain. In the UK our current time zone is GMT+1 and Milan GMT+2. As I received the time zone of GMT, I was late to my second interview. I received a call from the team member in Spain where I was asked if I was joining the call… I was confused as I thought I had the right time. I mentioned that I was GMT+1 not GMT (when rechecking my email) and was asked if I could join the call or arrange another time. As I understand that human error happens, no onus was taken on this mistake. When I attended the interview I had to explain what happened, however it felt as though it was my fault and it did not set the right tone for the conversation as it was also rushed. Shortly after, I received a rejection email from Autodesk recruitment team, I then sent an email to request for feedback and did not receive a response. I then received two emails requesting for the company’s feedback, how strange.

I received an offer for the facilities coordinator position and had came back with a counter offer. Finally, after a couple weeks of reviewing my counter offer, the recruiter calls me to give me two bad news. "We do not accept your counter offer and we resign the initial offer". After a very long process involving one phone interview and two I'm person inyerviews, they had made the decision to resign my offer. The recruiter had claimed that it was the VP's decision to no longer hire for this role. At the time all this had happened I was beginning to pack my belongings and had started saying my fairwells to my colleagues at my current work. I was mentally and physically prepared to start a new stage of my career until this happened. Seemed like it would've been a great company to work for, but would they have fired me soon after if I had accepted the initial offer? That's a question the runs to my mind and in which they had refused to answer.
