We marked the start of our seventh annual summer internship program, our largest, most competitive class yet. 99 interns joined us across our locations and departments in the U.S. and Canada. Through their orientation, they had an immersive introduction to Tiffany, learning about our heritage and future vision, passion for product and craftsmanship and the retail client experience. Welcomed by our leaders across the House, they were encouraged to approach the summer ahead with curiosity and intent. We are proud to offer a place where emerging talent can grow, contribute, and shape what comes next for our Tiffany & Co. legacy.
At Tiffany & Co., we celebrate the many facets of love, including love for community and love for the planet. In celebration of Earth Day and Global Volunteer Month, our people around the world showed up for their communities through sustainability-focused volunteer initiatives, supported by Tiffany Cares, our employee philanthropy program. For every hour contributed, $25 USD (or local equivalent) was donated to our nonprofit partners. Through Tiffany Cares, our people are able to contribute to causes The Tiffany Foundation has long championed, including ocean conservation and social impact in a reflection of a House where purpose and craft go hand-in-hand.
