"As the Head of Professional Services and Solutions Consulting in our Corporates Segment for almost three years, I have the pleasure of working with customers, partners, and employees every day. My job is about helping people find the right solution for their tax, trade, legal, and compliance needs while ensuring that Thomson Reuters is a great place to work for employees. Part of Thomson Reuters being such a great place to work is the value we place on our business resource groups, including our Veterans Network. I come from a long line of service members, my grandfathers and father all served. My grandfather fought in WWII, in Korea, and alongside my father in Vietnam. My sister and I carried forward this tradition, serving in the US Army and marrying fellow service members, with my sister and brother-in-law serving in Bosnia/Croatia. This is the first time in almost 100 years that a member of my immediate family is not serving in the military. I continue to carry my service forward as the executive sponsor of our Veterans Network in Dallas. Our teammates do an amazing job of educating our colleagues on the hardships of serving, the difficulties of transitioning to civilian life, and the mental and physical scars veterans carry. Understanding the impact of serving in the military is as important as we look to create inclusion, equity, and belonging for all. I am proud to be a part of this company as a Veteran, a leader, and a team member." Maria, Dallas

“This year marked my sixth anniversary working as an Internal Auditor at Thomson Reuters. Reflecting on my journey, I promised myself to spend a year being intentional with where I wanted to take my career. I felt my personality would thrive in a Human Resources (HR) position and knew I would regret it if I never took a leap of faith and explored a new career path.” Meet Rebecca, Human Resource Manager, Texas
“How do I balance building my career while starting a family? A big part of the answer to this question is finding a company that supports work-life balance and flexibility, which I am fortunate to have found at Thomson Reuters. My colleagues and leaders have been supportive and accommodating, making my maternity leave experience smooth and stress-free. The Thomson Reuters maternity leave policy in India has been a great help to me in this new journey, as I was able to spend six months with my baby. I am glad to be part of Thomson Reuters and have the continued support of the organization as my baby grows.” #WorkingAtTR Meet Neha, Assistant Company Secretary Asia Pacific, Mumbai
“I started working at Thomson Reuters in March on the Employer Branding team. One of the first things that caught my attention was how leaders facilitate and advance culture. I've found that leaders at every level of the organization model inclusive mindsets and behaviors, support personal and professional goals, and encourage employees to take advantage of the wide range of perks and benefits. One benefit that I recently used is Thomson Reuters Work from Anywhere policy. My manager was delighted that I wanted to try this new flexible work arrangement. She quashed all my doubts about trying out the benefit and adjusting my typical work routine. I traveled across Canada, flying from Ottawa to Calgary, to spend the week with friends. Moving from Eastern to Mountain time, my manager encouraged me to adjust my working hours for the week, ensuring I had the flexibility to enjoy my time away from work while in Calgary. " Meet Jacob, Sr Employer Branding Specialist, Ottawa

"Until I started #WorkingAtTR I didn’t feel confident freely expressing who I am at work. In the past, I always played with words to hide my boyfriend's gender. I felt as though I couldn't wear a pink t-shirt without people then knowing I was gay or feeling judged. When I joined Thomson Reuters and learned the values of the company, I felt an automatic sense of relief. And through the Pride at Work network, I was able to connect with an amazing community of people willing to learn, support and contribute with small or big actions to ensure Thomson Reuters is a safe, diverse and inclusive space for all, including our LGBTQIA+ colleagues. It's terrible that we are judged in the streets and in our own family or our circle of "friends" - and it would be fatal if we were also judged at work where we spend most of our time. When you have the opportunity to express yourself freely and have everyone accept you as you, you feel motivated and happy to do great work in your job. I thank Thomson Reuters and our Pride at Work community for that." Meet Julio (He / Him), Sr. Business Analyst
