Having spent over 20 years in the financial services and insurance industries, Karen doesn’t just build efficient operations – she also builds exceptional service teams while building up those around her. Her advice to young female professionals is to stay true to themselves: “Trying to fit into someone else’s box stifles creativity, devalues the experience you bring to the table and holds you back.”

Black History Month is an annual celebration of and reflection on the culture of the African diaspora. In 2020, as part of our Next-Generation Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative, Broadridge committed $1 million towards organizations at the forefront of efforts to end racial injustice and structural inequality. We selected the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) as our partner to form the Broadridge Scholarship Program because its mission and values so closely align with ours. We believe that access to educational opportunities for all students, despite the barriers they may face, can transform their lives. Through our support, Broadridge has provided the students with academic scholarships, educational workshops, a mentorship program, and internship opportunities. We look forward to continuing the program for years to come!
