Sofia's compassion for residents, support of fellow associates, and deep dedication to memory care make her an incredible fit for this new position. With over four years of dedicated service at Benchmark's The Village of South Farms community, Raquel has excelled as a Resident Care Associate (RCA) and quickly earned her promotion to Lead RCA! Since joining Benchmark in 2021, Leia’s quiet strength, deep compassion, and steady presence have made her a cornerstone of our care team. She’s been honored as a 2023 Benchmark Compassionate Caregiver and the 2024 Service Champion of the Year—and is often described as “the perfect fit” for leadership. Although she was initially hesitant to take the leap, her team saw her gifts clearly and believed in her wholeheartedly. Through their support, Leia came to see it too—and knew it was meant to be. We couldn’t be prouder to support her in this next chapter.
