      Le processus a pris plus de 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Zalando

      The contact with the external partner wasn’t smooth or professional. I.e. Sending emails with just the text: please send CV. The internal hiring manager was professional and could remember a private situation I told him about. I appreciated that and it seems he knows what he’s doing. The interviewer was 5 minutes late and came across uninterested and like she wanted to get it over with a quick as possible. She launched into introducing herself without asking me how I was or having a casual chat. I guess it’s a style. After 10 minutes it became evident that the leadership style of the interviewer (in my eyes) was as cold as it could get. I felt like a dementor was sucking the life out of me with piercing interrogation questions that were only driven to understand what output I could generate. There wasn’t a spark of empathy or genuine interest. I guess you can’t train learn that. When I spoke about leadership she pivoted to leadership questions that weren’t applicable to the role at all. Again, it felt like an interrogation and at this point as if she had something to prove. All in all I found the interviewer unsympathetic, unsympathetic and commiseration invoking. One thing I learnt about this interview is that the next time when I know after 10 minutes I would never want to work with a person, I’ll politely stop the interview and leave.

      Great process - communication was timely and detailed. I enjoyed the process and although i didn't go through with the job i can highly suggest trying because it's not so difficult and the company has great benefits.

      Easy interview without too many tricky questions. It took almost a month the whole process. The recruiter was not sure of her duties so it was not really clear how the process was working. Overall a normal experience.
