One week after sending my CV and cover letter, I received an invitation for the Google Hangouts interview. It lasted around 20 minutes. Recruiter was friendly and gave me more details about what kind of projects team is working on. She asked me to tell more about myself, then questions were mainly related to the requirements stated in the job description. This particular position, despite being the entry level one, requires a lot of autonomy, so I was asked to name projects that I accomplished on my own or where I took an initiatve to work independently. As it was said in the job description that they look for a person with 'excellent English and good German", interview was conducted in English but at the certain point I was asked to demonstarte my knowledge of German. Main language of the department is English, however you need German to interact with other stakeholders. In general, I felt the interview was quite intense with around 10 questions for such a short time and recruiters introduction of herself and the department.
