I was referred to Zalando by a friend and then The whole process took 6 weeks.
I was contacted after two weeks to schedule an interview.
Unfortunatelly, recruiting manager forgot about the interview and did not call me on scheduled time.
After my follow up, we have quickly rescheduled the interview for other day.
Here, again disappointment - recruiter was 15min late, and commited 8 full minutes of its time to me (described the position and immediately jumped to "Do You have any questions?"). I immediately felt like it was a piss-off call and person on the other side did not want to give me any chance to talk about my motivation and experience.
After another 4 weeks I have received information about rejection.
I had dosens of amazing interviews in my life but Zalando won in the "worst interview" contest. Makes me, wonder how they treat not recommended applicants for the lower position.
Tip for recruiting team: Respect the time of Your applicants and try a bit more with commitment towards them, because You might be missing many true gems among Your future employees :)
