3 weeks after on-site I get contacted saying they had been trying to reach me for weeks (false), that it was a great interview, good match of skills, attitude and exp for the role, however they found me too experienced for this junior position, and they would rather hire somebody less experienced. This while during the phone interview already complimenting my 5+ plus exp and that I know x and y tool and processes they don't in the dep I can teach the others. But not in the end conclude I am to experienced, however a great match for the future for none junior position..
