Hiring manager (Singapore) reached out to arrange for a chat. Seems like the problems of Yahoo and Oath cascaded downwards even to the local subsidiaries as (1) The team appears to be lost and unsure of what they want to do and their value as a digital product - appears to want every product to be a hero product for each demographic group. (2) The leadership also seems to be highly risk-averse and needed a lot assurance and affirmation along the way. Gives empty promises and pretends to be transparent and cooperative.
Overall a very bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
