Submitted resume to internal employee, got a call from Yahoo recruiter a few weeks later, had an initial phone interview. Followed up with recruiter and employer. Was asked to come in 2 weeks later for two sets of face to face interview. 2 weeks later received an offer letter from HR. Yahoo is a great company to work for, the folks strive for work/life balance. Positions are very silo'ed. Be prepared to be SME on your industry

The recruiting process itself was fairly standard, but communication between interview rounds could have been more transparent. There were extended periods without follow-ups, which made the overall experience feel less clear at times.

How have you used data to influence your decisions?
It was a very straightforward interview process. I did a short phone screener with HR and then met with the hiring manager via Zoom. The questions were everything you'd expect - past experience, situational questions, etc.

First HR phone call ( around 1 hr), then hiring manager (anround 1 hr) and take home test plus a group interview. Will last for 1 month cos the salary process needs US approval.
