I applied online and got an email that evening to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was pleasant and informal, based on my recruitment experience and how I deal with a high volume workload, my attitude to candidate experience etc. I was asked at the end of the call to attend a face to face interview. They were flexible and accommodating around scheduling a time.
I met with the overall manager (15 minutes), the Recruitment Coordinator Lead & the Recruiter who would be supported by the new hire (30 minutes) and 2 Recruitment Coordinators (15 minutes). All the team were lovely. The interview was relaxed and I was put at ease. It was a chatty rather than being asked questions from a piece of paper and it was nice to meet members of the team at the same level as they gave a good insight around the role and the team itself.
I got an email a couple of days later to I wasn't successful as they felt the role may be too junior for me but the feedback was positive from the team. I was disappointed as the working environment seemed very laid back and positive but I agree that the role is quite junior. Ideal for someone to get their foot in the door to recruitment.
