My Interview Experience
After clearing the aptitude test and the SVAR assessment, you will receive an email regarding your interview schedule and allotted time slot.
Preparation Tips:
* Focus on basic concepts like OOPs, MySQL, and your preferred programming language.
* Study your resume thoroughly—especially your final year project, as the interviewer is likely to ask questions based on them.
* Stay calm and confident. From my experience, they mainly assess your confidence and communication skills, in addition to your technical knowledge.
What Went Wrong for Me:
I was too nervous which affected my performance. So, try to stay relaxed and composed during the interview.
Be Prepared for Delays:
My interview slot was from 2 PM to 5 PM, but I started waiting from 1:30 PM. The interviewer joined only at 4:55 PM—just 5 minutes before the end of the time slot. I was about to raise a ticket when I finally received the call notification.
All the best to everyone preparing! You’ve got this!
I interviewed at **Wipro** in December 2022, and overall it was a calm and positive experience. The interview started with a self-introduction, after which most of the discussion was based on my resume. The interviewer went through my projects in detail and asked questions related to the work I had done.
The technical discussion was mainly focused on my projects and how I approached different problems. The interviewer was very polite and supportive throughout the conversation, which made the interview comfortable and helped reduce nervousness.
Toward the end, the interview shifted to HR-related questions. I was asked how I would handle conflicts within a team, how I manage time pressure, and whether I would be willing to travel or relocate as per the company’s requirements. I answered honestly and explained that I believe in resolving conflicts through clear communication and teamwork. I also shared that I am open to relocation if required.
Since it has been a long time, I don’t clearly remember if any other questions were asked. Overall, the interview felt more like a discussion rather than a strict evaluation. It focused on understanding my projects, approach, and attitude.
If you are preparing for **WILP**, stay calm, be clear about your resume and projects, and don’t stress too much. Good luck!
