Interview for entry was based on how well you answered questions about USAA core values. All answers should be in a behavioral format: situation, behavior, outcome. The company is all about finding the perfect fit. To get promoted have a strong understanding of current position and have complete well thought out answers. management is there to help you prepare for advancement and there are other employees dedicated to interviewing skills and resume updates.

Phone screen then in person interview.
In person interview was with 2 hiring managers. 1 physically there and the other was present by phone. The in person interviewer seemed like he had done a million of these and rattled off STAR question after STAR question.
I was contacted by HR 2 days later with an offer. After accepting the offer I then declined during the background check because I was offered a better position for me at another company.

First was a phone interview based off the popular STAR method. It also included a very detailed description of the position. The interviewer asked three questions based off this method and asked for specific responses. She was also very helpful i answering all the questions I had about the position

Initial application filled out. Called by HR. Arranged phone interview with HR. Three days later offered to interview with department managers. One week later offered the position. Took drug test and went thru background which took about 25 days to complete. Final offer verbally and in writing. Offer accepted.
