Completed initial interview with HR and immediately recieved a phone interview with two (2) hiring managers for a Contract Advisor and a Procurement Manager. Scheduled and completed an on-site interview with five (5) hiring managers. Traveled to the USAA facility from out town, but HR failed to inform me that the only expenses they covered were my airfare and I would be reimbursed for my rental car and hotel stay. Returned home two days later and sent in expense sheet for reimbursement but never received it. Then recieved another call to do another phone interview with another hiring manager, however was told I was being considered for another position, which was odd.
All in all the interview process was very long and drawn out and little confusing. Similiar to the federal sectors interview process, the managers didn't seem sure about the specific roles and duties entailed for the new procurement managers position they were hiring for. Additionally, managers did not arrange time for me to meet or speak with employees or provide very detailed background information on the positions during the interview. Not very pleased with the process and lack of information provided. Management seemed to rely more on selling me with the compensation package instead of selling other aspects of the company.
