A group interview which began with being asked questions surrounding customer experience, and reaction to changing environments. After this, we took part in a team building activity, constructing a 6ft tower made from paper, colouring pencils and scelertape. We them taken on to the shop floor, and paired with an employee, shadowing them in their job, sorting shelved for around half an hour. Afterwards, we individually interviewed, and discussed working hours and availability with the managers. The whole process took around 3 hours. However after my interview, I waited for 3 weeks to be told that I was unsuccessful, whilst in the mean time, my sister also had an interview, and was offered a position the very next day. Tesco obviously care very little about the situation they put their prospective employers in, as it doesn't bother them at all if people are turned down unprofessionally.
