Je travaille chez Tesco à plein temps
salaire peu evolutif, flexibilité, travail en groupe, soutien hiérarchique
personnels non productifs, logiciel non adapté
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé une entrevue à Tesco.
Applied online, was a series of basic questions and a check that you had 'right to work' documents. A few days later I received a call offering me an interview. Interview was scheduled for a few days in advance at 3 o'clock. I like to arrive to interviews a little beforehand, but due to strike action, buses were running a little late. I called the store and let them know in advance but that I was still able to make it there for my interview time. Once I arrived I checked in at the Customer Service Desk and the person serving me told me that the interviewer was in a managers' meeting that was running over but would be with me shortly. Shortly after, they asked me if I had the right interview time as there was only 2 interviews scheduled for that day and they were in the morning. I checked my messages and confirmed that it was definitely for that day. 15 minutes later another manager came to see me and told me that they were thankful for me waiting and it shouldn't be much longer. Another 15 minutes later I was told by a member of staff that because I had arrived late I had pushed the interviewers time back and they could no longer interview me, I was told I could either leave or wait until the interviewer had finished their other commitments. 1 and a half hours later the interviewer finally met with me and informed me that she was unable to interview me because of other commitments she had on, thanked me for my interest and asked me to leave. She highlighted that Tesco prefer staff and candidates who are 'punctual' and 'prepare in advance', not people who turn up '15 minutes late to their interview'. Although I was able to prove that I was not 15 minutes late and was on top for my interview, I was still told to go home and was thanked for my interest. Seemed that there was poor organisation and communication from all staff and managers and I was being penalised for their errors.
