      Entretien

I saw the position online on a well recognized job posting webpage here in Mexico. There was currently 3 positions open on which I was qualified for, Bilingual customer service representative, Tech Support and bilingual escalations agent. I went to applied in person at around 11am and they told me I had to open an account with them and do some online test. I had to do some fairly easy grammar, comprehensive and how to use a computer simulation test. There was a fourth computer technical test which was very outdated, asking questions about windows XP/Vista. I passed all the tests they had me to a simulation 5-8 minute call where you speak to an actual person which you are supposed to sell a trip and also hotel accommodation. After finishing up all the test, they passed me to an interviewer who told me I did a great job on all the test except on the simulator call but that I was eligible to apply for any of the positions. The interviewer told me that I fit really well on the Tech Support position but since the escalations position paid more, I let her know that I wanted to try that instead. She told me the position had little to do with troubleshooting and more with handling frustrated customers and the position was a very stressful one. The interviewer asked some general life questions and said that a supervisor from that deparment will interview me the next day. That day I got out at around 6PM. The next day one the supervisors interviewed me and told me about the position. I believed he played the scary card since all he talked about was how stressful was the position and that he wanted to make sure that I was not going to quit on him on the first months. I told him that I had never dealt with customers but I dont take anything personal and I am very patience person. After 1 hour or he told me that I was OK and that he will accept me. The next step was to sign the contract which I did in the following days. The whole process took around 2 1/2 weeks.
