Initially I was denied which was a surprise considering my job experience and then was offered an interview the following day. I schedule my interview the following Thursday and attended at the scheduled time. The interview with the recruiter was 12 minutes long where he was only asking scripted questions. At the end I asked a handful of questions and one specifically about moving forward and the expectations about the hiring process. The recruiter advised that someone would follow up the following Monday on whether or not I would be scheduled for a second interview. The overall interview felt off when we were finished and my honest opinion was that he was not interested in being there and I didn’t feel hopeful that we were going to be moving forward. I did not hear from anyone the following week as anticipated and after 4 emails and 3 weeks I was finally made aware they were still interviewing and would hear back by the end of week 3. I did not hear back and followed up week 4 with an email for an update that went again unanswered. I then sent one final email requesting to speak with someone else who could provide me an update as I was concerned with the job decision date being 1 week away. About an hour after sending the email, I got a notification that my application was denied and I still received no response back.
